White Horse began serving coffee in 2008 but the truth is, the vision had been brewing for a long time. Founders Matt and Dom teamed up with the goal of sharing the very best coffee with the community starting from a single espresso bar in Sutherland’s Flora Street and a lone two group La Marzocco machine with the doors open at 5am.

The Turtle Tribe was founded in 2018 by eleven-year-old Ned Heaton, a regular Aussie kid who grew up camping on Mulgumpin/Moreton Island and witnessing the growing problem of plastic pollution washing up on his favourite beach. After volunteering with Ocean Crusaders and realising that collecting rubbish alone wouldn’t solve the issue, Ned decided the answer was to create products that didn’t need to be plastic.
